Looking at Landscape:

Environmental Puzzles from Three Photographers

April 29, 2006 – January 7, 2007

This compelling exhibition at the Natural History Museum at Harvard University of photographs by Anne Whiston Spirn, Alex MacLean, and Camilo José Vergara invites viewers to look closely at processes occuring in natural and man-made landscapes, offering visual clues to understanding environmental puzzles. Each photographer approaches the challenge of discovery from a different angle: Spirn takes a close-up look, MacLean an aerial view, and Vergara a temporal perspective.
